The Maryland Genealogical Society published transcripts of many church records in their bulletin- a table of contents for each issue is on their website, and you can purchase articles or entire issues from them.The MSA also has a guide for Understanding Church Records– especially the language on Catholic and Lutheran records. The Maryland State Archives holds many many church records on microfilm and paper, which has been compiled in a Special Collection Guide for Maryland Religious Records which you can sort by denomination, location (county), or title of the institution. Conner Genealogy‘s Baltimore City Houses of Worship Locator is a fantastic resource to help you understand where religious institutions were/are located, as well as where main denominations hold their archival records.
